As an adolescent, I decided not to let thick, awkward glasses hinder my recreation. Via trial and error, I discovered I was, in fact, pretty durable (minus breaking a few bones here and there...)
Time
passed by, and as the comic books gave way to
graphic novels, I realized art was everywhere - and
I wanted a piece of it. Growing up in the Redwoods
on the southern Oregon coast certainly helped for
inspiration, as everywhere I turned - another
majestic view awaited me. At the age of 13, I
climbed into the cold, unforgiving waters of the
Pacific to surf - and loved every minute of it.
I continued to grow older, yet my perpetual-oddities, however, remained the same.

In
college, I embraced the yin and yang of Artwork and
Business - and studied my little brain off.
Creating an Art Club was the next logical thing to
do, since my logic consisted of having fun,
absorbing art, and having the University pay for
'educational' trips.
All the while, I made several stage performances for various clubs and charities, proceeded to train vocally for theater in secret - and played dangerous rugby-like games to break from studies and keep school tradition alive...

Starting with original photography, I moved to digital editing, painting - and finally to a gala event in the Pearl District of Portland, OR...
All the while, I lived in a house full of crazy musicians dubbed "The Urban Ski Lodge." This house garnered a following for it's monthly basement concerts, complete with painted backdrops and a ridiculous website (also my creative outlets at the time...) By word of mouth, this 'secret' oasis of rock in Portland, Oregon thrived from 2002 to 2005... Here is the original website, unchanged from when it went offline...
The only
thing constant in my choice of vocations was there
simply was no constant - that, and each job needed
to push me out of my comfort zone and force me to
grow.
Why not have fun, learn, and experience new things?
During college, my love of the outdoors led me to the US Forest Service, where I measured young saplings for Smokey the Bear (whom in my opinion, is the coolest bipedal mammal - EVER.)
In seasons to come, I strapped on my eyepatch, brandished my sword - and fished commercially in Bristol Bay, Alaska.
Managing a mexican restaurant helped take my leadership to new levels (¿Cómo se dice, 'Gringo?') Most recently, however, Hawaii whispered my name, and I had to answer... Organizing crowd safety drills, serving cocktails, and singing Elvis onstage while floating at sea was truly surreal...

After many episodes of performing onstage, I decided to focus my efforts intensely on Film & Television... A summary of my work can be viewed here...
I spent months of '07 in preparation for a fun-filled ongoing show titled "Fishing With Hookers"; not only is playing the role of Tarr Orchards a blast, but working with the entire cast & crew has been an amazing experience...
In March of '07, I began writing a screenplay for a vivid, modern musical feature-film. Months after, I started working simultaneously on a separate comedy screenplay, to be unveiled soon enough...
Focusing on the development of the comedic screenplay & preparing my move to Los Angeles has become my Public Enemy #1 - so I return to my old stomping grounds of the Redwoods. It is here I listen to the ancient wisdom of the forest, which inspires, hermits & spooks me - & I retaliate by driving a nail into my fictional coffin of comedy... Take that you pipe dream! I own you!
